Charlie McAvoy speaks on the current state of the Bruins locker room

The Bruins acquired a ton of new players this off-season as they hope these additions will push them over the hump this year.
Assistant captain Charlie McAvoy recently spoke to the media about all these new players showing up and he stated that he was excited to see how the team looks on the ice and is knows the returning players will embrace them with open arms.
"We bring you in with open arms...that's what happened with me and I've seen it happen with everyone else who comes in here."
While McAvoy might not be the captain in Boston just yet, comments like this show exactly why he is a leader on the team and deserves to be an assistant captain.
As training camp and the pre season begin, fans and players are both excited for things to get going and see these new players in black and gold.
