Brad Marchand just made a strong statement on his team

After last night's loss, no one in the Bruins locker room was very happy with the effort in the loss, especially the captain Brad Marchand.
"We weren't good in any area. Their compete level was a lot higher than ours."
The Bruins captain, sporting a new cut on his nose from a cheap shot taken early in the game, had some strong comments for his team. To sum it up, the Bruins were out played, out skated, out hit, outshot in a game they need to quickly forget about and move forward with the mighty Canucks coming to town Thursday night.
The honest assessment of team calls into the focus of the leadership quality Marchand brings, not being afraid to let him team know they need to step it up. With a lot of season still left, the Bruins can't lose focus now, they need to keep their foot on the gas until they reach their collective goal of bringing a Stanley Cup back to Boston!
