Game 5 of the Leafs-Bruins series was bound to be a real nail-biter, but nobody saw Brad Marchand getting roughhoused by a ref coming. The whole thing went down in the third period, right after Marchand and Leafs guy Pontus Holmberg got into it, both nabbing minor penalties.
It's like the ref thought Marchand was gonna throw down with Holmberg and just jumped in. Marchand didn't seem too happy about it, to say the least. He looked totally shocked to be slapped with a penalty, but even the guys on TV thought both Marchand and Holmberg deserved a timeout in the penalty box after their scuffle.
