Bruins and Maple Leafs engage in serious trade talks to swap superstars

A very intriguing trade proposal has just emerged involving the Boston Bruins trading D-Man, Charlie McAvoy for Toronto Maple Leafs superstar, Mitch Marner.

The idea comes from CapWages.com, where both teams would swap superstars in a one for one deal.

There have been a lot of talk and rumors surrounding Mitch Marner's future with the Maple Leafs. Most notably these have come after the lack of production and results for him personally and for the team as a whole during the playoffs.

He is a bonified superstar in the NHL producing over a point per game in the last 3 seasons. Charlie McAvoy on he other hand has been a main stay for the Bruins and considered a top defenceman in the NHL.

At this point, these proposals are all just speculation, but it is not that crazy of an idea for the teams to consider. What do you think?
