The Bruins have, against all odds at the beginning of the season, have proven to the front office that deserve to get some help at the trade deadline, instead of trading away talent for assets. This was viewed as almost impossible at the beginning of the season with the loss of so many stars and such limited cap space and draft assets. Everyone involved deserve credit for putting a solid product on the ice.

This leads us to the trade deadline, and what will the Bruins do. They have been the most active team searching for upgrades as two of their biggest competitors (Jets and Canucks) have already added major stars. The bruins are being linked to Anaheim Ducks veteran Adam Henrique. Henrique would add some great scoring energy to the Bruins top 6 groups. He is having a strong season with 15 goals and 35 points in 52 games. According to David Pagnotta, Adam Henrique and the Bruins have now been linked as possible trade partners at the deadline.

The Ducks have plenty of cap space and would be able to eat much of Henrique's salary in order to facilitate a trade, with their hope to bring back future assets. This makes them the perfect trade partner for the cap strapped Bruins. Henrique should go to the front of the line of the Bruins priorities list if they can make something happen in the form of a trade.
