As we approach the deadline, speculation around Jake DeBrusk is at an all time high. Many insiders believe he will be moved before the deadline since there does not seem to be any talks of extension.
According to insider Allan Mitchell, there is a possibility of a scenario that would send DeBrusk back to his hometown of Edmonton. The trade would see DeBrusk and Forbort heading to the Oilers in exchange for Brett Kulak and Warren Foegele.
DeBrusk might be able finally find his scoring touch again playing alongside Draisaitl or McDavid while the Bruins would be getting help on the backend which they desperately need with Brett Kulak.
Kulak has 9 points in 56 games this season with a 4 +/- rating while Foegele has 29 points in 56 games with a -1 +/- rating.
