Bruins defenseman setting himself up for massive breakout season

Last season, the Boston Bruins acquired Andrew Peeke form the Columbus Blue Jackets as Peeke was having one of his worst professional seasons.
However, once he got to the Bruins, he was able to show people exactly what he is made of. He delivered some huge hits and showed that he can be in the lineup night in and night out. Now, Michael Derosa of The Hockey News is saying that Peeke might be on his way to a career year.
"Earlier in his career, Peeke showed solid promise and averaged over 21 minutes per game during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons," Derosa wrote. "Although he ran into some trouble during his final year with the Blue Jackets, the 26-year-old is still young enough that this fresh start could help him take another step in his development. If he does, he could become a very effective shutdown defenseman for the Bruins' bottom pairing and penalty kill."
