Former Boston Bruin, Oskar Steen has decided to go play out the rest of his career over sees in Sweden instead of playing in the AHL and attempting to make an NHL squad.
Former #NHLBruins forward Oskar Steen is heading back to Farjestad in Sweden where he developed as a player. Last played for them in 2018-19. Steen signed a five-year deal #GetBent
The news Broke on the Bruins Bender Podcast that Steen would not continue his career in the United States as he elected to sign a 5-year deal in Farjestad, Sweden.
At 26-years-old, Steen last played for the Providence Bruins in 2023 scoring 12 goals and 4 assists in 25 games. He did also see some NHL action in the 2023-2024 season, scoring only 1 goal in 34 games for the Bruins.
