The Pittsburgh Penguins are in a strange place right now after having moved Guentzel before the deadline. The team has been great for so long and is now on path for a rebuild as their stars are headed towards the end of their careers.

The main question that everyone is wondering is, will Sidney Crosby finish his career is a Penguin? Patrice Bergeron was recently interviewed by TVA Sports where he gave his opinion on the subject. Bergeron stated that he has an old fashion mentality when it comes to this sort of thing and believes Crosby should finish his career as a Penguin. Former Bruins captain also has a biased opinion as he spent the entirety of his career with one team, the Bruins.

"I don't know what he's going to do, but as long as he follows his heart. Of course it would be weird to see him in a uniform different than that of the Penguins, because he started there at 18 and he saved the franchise," Bergeron explained on the JiC show. "We'll see what happens next, but for my part, I'm a little more old fashioned and with a loyal side, therefore I hope he can stay," he continued.

Crosby has certainly earned the right to make his own decision as he has brought glory multiple times to the city of Pittsburgh but his loyalty to the team runs deep and it is unlikely he asks to be moved. However, if he does decide to move on, all Penguins fans should do is thank #87 for the past 20 years and wish him nothing but the best.
