Bruins legend Patrice Bergeron not ruling out NHL return
When the Boston Bruins reunited with Patrice Bergeron last night (Oct. 4) when they faced off against the Los Angeles Kings in Quebec City, Bergeron made some comments about his return to the NHL, but it wouldn't be with the B's
Quebec City hosted the NHL as the Kings' Arena is under construction, and the event opening up questions about the league potential expanding once again as my fans would like to see Quebec get another team.
Bergeron, who was in attendance, really wants to see his hometown get a team once again and there is a possibility of his involvement if it comes to fruition.
In 19 seasons and 6 Selke Trophies with the Bruins, he collected a total of 1,040 points, scoring 427 goals and 613 assists, slotting him 3rd all-time in organizations history.
When asked about his future in the league and if he is looking to find himself a job with the Bruins, he told reporters he is not ready to work full time again, especially after recently retiring. But he had not ruled it out with another team
«As of right now, I'm happy. I'm in a good place. It's good for me to take a step back and be able to really think about what I want to do, but really spend time and catch up with the family.»
