Bruins could be interested in bringing back former fan favorite Reilly Smith who has been made available by the Penguins this off-season.
Smith is headed into the last year of his contract with a $5 million cap hit after putting up a total of 40 points in 76 games.

Smitth is now 33 years old but still has value on the ice, the question is more surrounding his contract and if he is worth $5 million per year. If Sweeney is able to get him back with the Penguins paying a portion of his salary it would make more sense for the Bruins.
