Since the Hurricanes were eliminated last week, there has been a ton of trade rumors surrounding forward Martin Necas.
It appears that the Hurricanes will look to move Necas in the off-season to make room to sign Jake Guentzel and Seth Jarvis who they see as bigger priorities.
Necas had a great season this year as he put up 53 points in 77 games this season with the Hurricanes and 71 points in 82 games the year before that.
The Bruins might be a front-runner to land Necas as GM Don Sweeney said he is looking to be aggressive this off-season and with all the cap space they have, they can easily take on his contract.
