After the game it is being said that the Bruins are recalling another defenseman from Providence. Ian Mitchell is being recalled by the big club. Mitchell will get another stint with the Bruins, after having played 6 games this season with 2 assists and a plus 6 rating.

Mitchell has been playing well in Providence and the Bruins are hoping it translates to the NHL level. This move could because they are weighing all options after Hampus Lindholm went down with injury. Mason Lohrei got called up for the Oilers game as well.
