Bruins receive significant updated news regarding Elias Lindholm
The Boston Bruins may be getting closer to adding Elias Lindholm to there roster
The Bruins have had Lindholm on there radar since the Calargary Flames traded him to the Vancouver Canucks this season. The Bruins also engaged in potential trade talk with the Canucks before the deadline but nothing happened as a result.
Now that Lindholm is one of the top agents on the market this offseason, It has been assumed that the Bruins will try to acquire Lindholm even more fervently.
Friedman also made it known that the Canucks would be moving on without Lindholm and that they wanted to study their alternatives. If everything stays the same with the Canucks and they don't change their minds, it's looking like Boston will be one of the top teams competing for Lindholm in the NHL draft.
As a forward, Lindholm would fit in perfectly with Boston and be a valuable asset who helps offensively and defensively during games. Lindholm would also add to the list of centers Boston has which leaves the Bruins with another talented player that will grow and thrive in their close knit community.
It looks like that at this point, once the NHL lottery starts the Bruins will have a solid option to choose from for rebuilding and restrengthening their team for the next season.
