Bruins set to acquire Panthers superstar forward
Panthers superstar forward Sam Reinhart is set to become a free agent July 1st as his contract will be expiring.
Reinhart and the Panthers have yet to come to an agreement on a contract extension and the Bruins are very interested in the forward.
The Panthers forward had his best season yet putting up 94 points with 57 goals this season and is likely in line for a massive pay day.
It looks like the Panthers have quite a few key players that will be without a contract at the end of the season such as Sam Bennett and Carter Verhaeghe which means GM Bill Zito will have a busy off-season.
With the Panthers headed to the Stanley Cup finals, there is a good chance Reinhart will want to re-sign if they end up winning it all but if he plans on moving on, Boston might be at the top of list for new landing spots.
