Jeremy Swayman's agent Lewis Gross also represented the late Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, and given the tragic circumstances of this heartbreaking loss of two great young men, we would not expect a deal or any progress to be made until after their funeral service on Monday, September 9th.
With all that being said, right now, the priority is the Gaudreau family and all of those who are in mourning. Reporters and journalists alike make a big deal about weather or not a star player will sign the next big contract, or stay loyal to a team, but at the end of the day, it is just sports and not life and death.
Everyone here at Bruins Latest wants to send our deepest condolences and prayers to the entire Gaudreau family, the hockey world lost two special young men.
Rest in peace Johnny and Matthew.
