Bruins fans will be able to watch there team play like never before in an animated game against the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second annual NHL Big City Greens Classic.
Fans will be able to watch the broadcast on ESPN+ and all Disney Platforms. The game will feature the characters of the Big City Greens show skating along side animated versions of each teams players with an esthetic of the show.
"The younger generation of kids are really going to connect to this. A lot of the games are catered towards adults and older people. This is an opportunity for the young generation to connect with the game," Brad Marchand.
The Bruins are attempting to introduce the game to the younger generation with a broadcast tailored for children. The game will take place March 9th at 3 PM. ET but will also be available as a traditional broadcast for those solely interested in the game without the antics.
