Former Member of the Boston Bruins Stanley Cup winning team in 2010-2011, although traded mid-year, has had his season ended. Blake Wheeler of the New York Rangers took a hit against the Montreal Canadiens and seemed to severely hurt his leg. He needed assistance off the ice and could not put any weight on the leg.

Unfortunately, Blake Wheeler out for rest of the regular season. A postseason return is considered unlikely, although not 100 per cent ruled out depending on how far NYR go

Blake Wheeler, 37, has 9 goals and 21 points in 54 games for the first place New York Rangers. This is his first season with the Rangers after 12 years with Winnipeg Jets/Atlanta Thrashers. The Veteran forward is hoping to make a return for the Playoffs, chasing one more Cup opportunity. Get Well Soon Wheels!
