Cam Neely confirms that Jeremy Swayman will sign with the Boston Bruins: "No question about it"
Per the 'The Rich Shertenlieb Show', Boston Bruins president Cam Neely made an appearance on the program today and confirmed that Jeremy Swayman will sign with the team.
With NHL training camp just about a month a way, the major question mark that still looms over the Boston Bruins is if RFA Jeremy Swayman will sign with the team before the season begins.
Today Cam Neely confirmed that Swayman and the Bruins will get a deal done, more specifically he said there is "no question" about it.
Swayman confirmed as well that he expects a deal to be made soon but like Cam Neely stated, sometimes negotiations and contract talks aren't always black and white, there are a lot of lines to cover to make both parties happy. Neely had some very kind words when addressing his star goaltender.
This is very good news for Boston Bruins fans as this has been a very intense and uncertain offseason, but with the comments made by Neely today, there should be nothing to worry about.
