Jake Debrusk, is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season and it's been noted that a Canadian team could win his services.

It was reported by Josh Wegman of the score that the Montreal Canadiens are currently circling their interest on Debrusk as he would bring a physical and great work epic that would be beneficial to the Habs.

The 27 year old was selected by the Bruins in the 2015 entry draft, first round
14th overall. During his time with the Bruins, he has put together solid seasons however with numerous injuries and never a complete schedule his point totals have been all over the map.

This season has been a down season for his production as through 70 games, he has scored 18 goals, with 21 assists for 39 points and who's played roughly 16 minutes a game.

It would certainly be tough to see Debrusk in a Habs uniform and it's certainly possible that general manager Don Sweeney feels that he would want to keep Debrusk for the long term. However, it will all come down to how much he wants and what the Bruins are willing to pay.
