In an odd and strange show of disrespect, the Toronto Maple Leafs were not present on the ice during the ceremony for the 2011 Bruins Stanley Cup team. This planned ceremony was taking place when they panned out to show that the Maple Leafs were nowhere to be seen as they chose to remain in their dressing room.

Many fans took to the X platform to voice their distaste towards the Leafs and their choice to remain hidden. I find it odd that they did this and could have chosen a better way.

But this rivalry is one of the most heated in the NHL and with their recent playoff skirmishes along with the Bruins coming out on top, it's certainly showing many fans that Leafs should show more class.

This kind of behaviour will add more fuel to the fire as both teams appear to be on a collision course with one another once again in the first round of this year's playoffs.
