After Being eliminated from the playoffs against the Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins forwards David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha enlisted with Team Czechia and had been looking to assist their home team in joining the gold medal game.
On May 25 2024, Team Czechia played against Team Sweden and triumphed over them, creating a crystal clear pathway for the gold medal game. Team Czechia won 7-3 and David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha both partook in helping their team accomplish this incredible win. Despite this, neither forward has made any noteworthy moves thus far, apart from one goal by Zacha in three games.
Now, Team Czechia will have to face Team Switzerland as it gained the victory over Team Canda earlier today, setting up the final gold medal game at the ice hockey world championship.
