Disastrous news comes out about former Boston Bruins forward Tomas Nosek
During the first period of the Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators 1st pre-season game, Former Boston Bruins forward Tomas Nosek fell hard and awkwardly into the boards in that caused a scary scene.
The the awkward fall happened at 14:04 of the 1st period when Nosek was coming down on the wing in the Predators offensive zone and made contact with Predators and fell very hard face first into the boards.
Nosek stayed down for a brief moment and then needed assistance from the medical staff and other teammates to get off the ice as he was favoring his upper body.
When the game finalized, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice addressed the media but did not give an update on the extent or result of Nosek's injury. He did say that they the team will have an update by tomorrow, Tuesday September 24th at the latest.
Nosek Spent 2 seasons with the Bruins organization where he scored a measly total of 10 goals and 25 assists for 35 points in 141 games. He ended up going to the New Jersey Devils last season and and did not have much more success. He scored only 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points and a +/- rating of -11.
He agreed to a 1-year deal worth league minimum this season with the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers, but depending on how serious his injury is, he could be out for some time.
