Don Sweeney fires back at Jim Montgomery after strong criticism

Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney fired back and Head Coach Jim Montogmery after some comments were made this year in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
In a post-game presser in this years Stanley Cup Playoffs, Jim Montgomery talked about the close 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers, this led to some criticism for Don Sweeney about losing close games.
"I didn't sense frustration. But the lack of our ability to score in the playoffs in general, you can't win every game 2-1."
After signing two big names in Free Agency in Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov, Sweeney took a shot back at Montgomery.
"Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final went to 2-1, so that might be the one single pushback I have on Monty and his comment that yeah, you can win 2-1 in those situations and you probably have to more often than not. The margins are small. You look at the last three games of our series against Florida, it wasn't runaway hockey."
It is very true that during the playoffs, there will be a lot of low scoring and tight games that you will have to win, it is just the nature of the beast.
