The big buzz on all social platforms lately has been about where will Noah Hanifin end up come the deadline. It is clear Calgary wants a good return for the star defenseman but it will all come down to what other teams are willing to offer.

Insider Elliotte Friedman said of his podcast today that he believes the top landing spots for the 27 year-old would be Boston, Florida or New Jersey.

It seems as though Tampa Bay and Toronto might be interested but Tampa doesn't have anything of equivalent value to offer while Toronto is looking for a RHD.

He also mentions Boston, Florida & New Jersey as teams interested. Says Toronto would be interested but they prefer a RHD & he's not interested in signing there. Talks about how there's always a scenario out there he's not aware of.

The NHL trade deadline is at 4pm March 8th, hopefully Sweeney can make an offer that will interest Calgary to send the Boston native back home.
