The New York Rangers took on the New Jersey Devils Thursday night, in which the Rangers won 5-1.
Rangers forward Matthew Rempe had an impressive start at the Stadium series but in his next game, he decided to make a dangerous hit on Devils forward Nate Bastian that will surely end up in a suspension. He was given a major penalty for roughing on the play.
Rempe will surely face repercussions from NHL Player Safety Program, time will tell how many games they will give him as a first time offender.
