Brandon Carlo's contract is amazing for his production and here's why. The big D-man is the 4th highest paid defenseman by making only $4.1 Million AAV. But for a stay at home blue liner, he checks off a lot of boxes that make this report true.
He led the team in +/- with a rating of +41 while logging a lot of minutes on the penalty kill. He plays physical, blocks shot and does what he needs to do to get wins.
