Two legendary Boston Bruins', Bill BennettChuck Scherza will be inducted in to the Rhode Island Hockey Hall of Fame as a part of the 2024 class.
Bruins Alumni Bill Bennett and the late Chuck Scherza will be enshrined into the the RI Hockey Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug 17th at Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet in Cranston, RI.
Both will be honored along with more RI hockey royalty in an event that is always entertaining and memorable.

Scherza only played 36 games in the NHL over three season, but spent 11 years apart of the Bruins organization playing int he minors for both the Providence Bruins and Hershey Bears. He was know for his physical style of play but was a great contributor to the community of providence.
Billy Bennet played even less game in the NHL with only 31. He scored 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points.
