Former Boston Bruin Blake Wheeler eyeing to return to the organization

The rumor mill is continuing to swirl as Former Boston Bruins star Blake Wheeler is set to return back with his most recent team the New York Rangers.
According to reporter Carter Brooks of The Hockey News, he reported that an inside source close to the team says the Bruins may be preparing to offer Wheeler a professional tryout (PTO) as the former Ranger is looking for a new contract.
Last season with the Rangers he scored 9 goals and 13 assists for 21 points in 54 games.
There are many players that should be on PTO's this season to prove themselves, but a former captain and someone who has proven himself in the NHL as a top-6 and bottom-6 player should be able to just sign for league minimum and that is what the Bruins should do.
