Here's the announcement from the Canucks: Phil Kessel is currently in Vancouver and will be training in Abbotsford to sign his contract later this week.
"Phil has made his way to Vancouver and will be working out in Abbotsford this week."
Kessel won the Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights last year. In the 2022-2023 season, the 36-year-old athlete scored 14 goals and added 22 assists for a total of 36 points in 82 games.
