Former Bruins Player Addresses Rumors

It has been a couple of weeks since rumors of former Bruin and Stanley Cup champion Reilly Smith have been spreading. It has been said that he is no longer happy in Pittsburgh. Smith has been silent on this topic until a recent interview where he finally got to give the public his thoughts on the matter.
"I mean, I'd say it's pretty baseless," Smith said before a lengthy pause. "Just baseless opinions of people," is what Smith had to say after a recent post game interview.
As soon as the rumor was brought up, Riley Smith immediately changed his demeanor, seeming both shocked and uncomfortable. Its not hard to spread "baseless" rumors like this about a player who has been on a recent dry spell, accumulating 25 points (10 of which are goals) across 51 games this season. With only 6 of those goals being scored in October, the dry spell he is currently experiencing seems to back up these rumors, spreading like wildfire.
"Just talked with Reilly Smith about all of the rumors, the trade stuff and the unhappiness. He definitely had an answer Coming up."
As Reilly Smith's body language in the interview seems to back up his word, his confidence and belief in what he is saying about these rumors can only take his credibility so far.
