Former Bruins star Phil Kessel makes big announcement

Former Bruins superstar Phil Kessel did not play all of last season and at 36 years old has decided to make a big decision regarding his career.
According to insider Elliotte Friedman, Kessel is not ready to call it a career just yet even though training camp is right around the corner and he has not even signed a PTO.
After missing an entire season, many have naturally wondered about Kessel's plan for the 2024-25 campaign. During the latest episode of 32 Thoughts: The Podcast, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that Kessel still hopes to play during the 2024-25 campaign.
His last full season in the NHL was with the Golden Knights in 2022-23 where he put up 36 points in 82 games.
While Kessel might not be the player he once was, he could possible help a bottom ranking team at a low cost.
