The Bruins have been connected to Elias Lindholm since the trade deadline and now that he is set to become a free agent, it looks like it is a real possibility.
Insider Elliotte Friedman reported on his podcast that he believes the Canucks willl be offering Lindholm a contract of $7 million AAV for 7 years but believes a deal won't get done.

The Bruins seem to be very interested in Lindholm but given Sweeney's history, it is unlikely he offers him a contract surpassing $49 million since he only put up 44 points last season.
