Jeremy Swayman is finally getting the attention he deserves after TSN announces major news
As Bruins fans wait for Jeremy Swayman to sign his contract extension with Boston, former NHL goalie and current TSN analyst Martin Biron has ranked him the 2nd best goalie in the Atlantic Division.
Biron posted on Twitter who he things the best goaltenders are in the Atlantic division and Swayman was up against some very big names. Ultimately, Biron ranked him #2, right behind Sergei Bobrovsky who took the #1 spot.
We all know Swayman is an elite netminder who still has a lot of room to grow into a potential Vezina winner, but the most surprising thing about this list is that he was ranked higher than former Vezina winner Andrei Vasilevskiy who has led the NHL in wins since 2017.
Swayman had an unbelieve season while sharking the starting duties with Linus Ullmark. He posted a record of 25-10-8 record, with a 2.53 GAA, and a .916% save percentage.
Now we wait to see if and when this deal gets done.
