For both the Bruins and the Rangers, this will be their first pre-season game of seven, where they will be showcasing new line sand players in order to assess who will crack the final roster. As of right now, there are no updates on who will be in the lineup tonight, but as the day progresses, we will be updating on you on what the line combinations will be.
Two things are for sure, Captain Brad Marchand will not be suiting up for the game as he is still rehabbing and recovering from 3 off-season surgeries and is easing himself through training camp. The other, is that RFA and superstar goalie Jeremy Swayman will not be in attendance as he is still holding out for a contract with the team.
Although not confirmed, this will most probably be the first chance that Bruins fans can expect to see new Signee's Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm dawn the Bruins jersey in a completive game.
Matthew Poitras will be one for Bruins to lookout for as he had a great showing in the Black & Gold scrimmage yesterday, scoring an unbelieve goal while playing with Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak.
Don't miss game #1 of the pre-season tonight at 5 PM E.T.
