On Tuesday night at TD Garden, during the match against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Bruins' captain will celebrate his 1,000th NHL game. He played every single one for the same team.

Drafted in the third round by the Bruins in 2006 as a somewhat overlooked winger, Marchand has risen to become a critical component of Boston's top six and its 27th captain, embodying the resilience and determination characteristic of his play. With recent setbacks on home ice, losing 4-1 to the Calgary Flames on February 6 and 3-0 to the Washington Capitals last Saturday, Marchand and the Bruins are eager to return to their victorious form this Tuesday.

🎥 Brad Marchand on getting set for his 1,000th career game tomorrow: "It's special...I look at it in so many different ways. When you look back at it as a kid coming up and just trying to make the league, it's hard to imagine playing in 1,000 games, especially for one team."

In spite of reaching this personal achievement, Marchand's primary focus remains on the overall success of his team.
