Frank Seravalli has announced that the most hated man in hockey and Stanley Cup Champion Nick Cousins has signed a 1-year contract worth $800K with the Ottawa Senators.

It was rumored earlier this offseason that when Cousins was suspected to not be re-signing with the Florida Panthers, that the Boston Bruins would be interested in adding his toughness and "ratty" style of play to bolster their bottom-6 forward group, but it was confirmed today that he will be heading to Canada.

Nick Cousins was voted over Brad Marchand as the most hated player in the NHL during this seasons annual player poll. His style of play rides the fine line between aggressive and reckless and has caused numerous injuries due to this fact.

Here Is One Example

Is 72 games last season with the Florida Panthers, Cousins scored 7 goals and 8 assists for 15 points and accumulated 64 penalty minutes. He was in and out of the lineup during the Stanley Cup Playoffs but spent most of the time as a healthy scratch.
