Jeanneret passed away on August 17th, 2023 at the age of 81. He had a long lasting career that spanned more than 5 decades as he was the primary voice of the Sabres for 51 years.
He began his career on radio in 1971 and after years of commitment, he got his shot in 1995 to be in front of the camera and became the main man for the TV Broadcast.
The Buffalo Sabres made a heartfelt tribute video to remember all of Jeanerette's best moments.
On April 1, 2022 the organization honored him with the ultimate gesture as they raised his initials to the rafters at KeyBank Center in front of a sold-out crowd.
He left behind his wife Sandra, his three kids and several grandchildren. He will surely be missed.
