Corey Perry's past could come back to hurt him as some new shocking information was just released on what happened with the Chicago Blackhawks that got him released.
The Edmonton Oiler have just re-signed Corey Perry to a 1-year deal this offseason after performing well in the playoffs. He was picked up after being let go from the Blackhawks for undisclosed reasons but there were many rumors circulating it had to do with unethical behavior with a teammates mother.
Mark Lazerus of 'The Athletic' was able to provide some further information on the scandal filling in some of the gaps that fans didn't know about.

No one truly know what occurred that got him fired, but he did provide insight that the Edmonton Oilers are in the same boat as fans and do not know much about the issues. They still decided to take a chance on the 39-year-old despite all of the rumors.
