There has been a lot of talk on who the new leading man behind the bench would be, especially after the disastrous decision to hire Mike Babcock last season, where he didn't even last past pre-season.
Todd McLellan at 56-years-old has been a head coach in the NHL since 2008. He has collected a total record of 598-412-134 (.581) over time with 3 teams, the San Jose Sharks, Edmonton Oilers, and Los Angeles Kings.
Before these central rumors and the hiring of Craig Berube, McLellan was linked to the Toronto Maple Leafs. As an old school head coach, his main duty will be to bring out the best effort and talent of of big players like Adam Fantilli and Kent Johnson.
