Patrik Laine demands trade: Blue Jackets GM confirms Laine's urgent request

Columbus Blue Jackets general manager Don Waddell has just provided much wanted insight on the future of Patrik Laine and the team.
Don Waddell confirmed that there is no hostility with Laine but emphasized that he does in fact want to be traded to a new team. In a interview with the well respected 'The Hockey Writers' outlet, Waddell stated that new head coach, Dean Evason, had a good conversation with the star, but did confirm the trade request.
"THW: Have you personally had the chance to speak to him [Laine] yet?
Waddell: Dean (Evason) did talk to him, very cordial conversation, but he's made it clear that he wants a fresh start somewhere else."

The trade rumors have been buzzing all off season, but it is now confirmed that Laine will not wear a Blue Jackets jersey this coming season, the only question remains is where does he fit and what team will want to take on his contract?
