Edmonton Oilers captain and league superstar, Connor McDavid is set to get married this Saturday, July 27th to long time girlfriend Lauren Kyle.
We are officially in "McDavid wedding week" as the #Oilers captain is set to tie the knot with longtime fiancee Lauren Kyle on Saturday!

Some NHL fans may really not care too much or pay attention tot he personal lives of players, but as the leagues best player, this is a monumental event for him, and could indicate his future plans with the Oilers organization.
Many believe that getting married to Kyle will motivate him to sign an extension with the Oilers and maybe even take a home town discount.
We will just have to wait and see if this is a major factor in wanting to stay with the team.
