Nashville Takes Decision Regarding Novak

Nashville Predators young forward Tommy Novak has had an impressive first two years in the NHL. His contract was coming up at the end of the season and the Predators decided to reward Novak's play with a 3 year x 3.5 million dollars contract.

Novak has been playing very well this year with 34 points in 51 games with a -7 +/- rating. By the time this contract is up in 3 years, there is a good chance he will outplay his earnings and make Predators look great with signing him for so little.
