Washington Capitals Star Evgeny Kuznetsov is entering the NHL's player assistance program. The 31-year-old star is having a down year with 6 goals and 11 assists this year, leading to questions as to what was going on with the prolific scorer.
The Former first round pick will be away from his team for an extended period of time while receiving care.
He is the second player to enter the player assistance program in the past month and shows the NHL and NHLPA dedication to player wellbeing and efforts to ensure they get the care they need.
Wishing Kuznetsov, a big get well soon and hope to see him back on the ice in the near future!
