Convicted felon Ben Johnson was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 2012 draft but never made it.
Johnson was a third round draft pick and signed with the Devils but never made it to the NHL as he ended up getting arrest and serving a 3 year sentence in prison for his crimes.
The former Devils draft pick has now signed a contract in Slovakia with HK Dukla Michalovce.
Convicted r*pist Ben Johnson 🇺🇸 has signed a one-year deal with HK Dukla Michalovce (Slovakia) 🇸🇰
Johnson, 30, was drafted 90th overall by the New Jersey Devils (NHL) 🇺🇸 in 2012 - In 2013 he was charged with r*ping a 16-year old while at an "end-of-season" party with the Windsor Spitfires, and was found guilty in 2016, spending three years in prison.
He had four goals, nine points through 33 games played with HC Nove Zamky (Slovakia) 🇸🇰 last season.
Shameful that this guy keeps getting signed.
Many fans believe Johnson should never be able to play professional hockey again for his disgusting crimes but it seems like HK Dukla Michalovce is willing to give him a chance.
