Insiders provide grim outlook on Swayman signing with the Bruins
Three NHL insiders has reported a grim outlook at the Jermey Swayman situation stating he is not confident he will sign before camp commences.
We are less than a week away and still no updates or progress has been made between Swayman and the Bruins. As fans, we were told repeatedly not to worry, that a deal would get done it is just a matter of time, but how can it not be worrisome at this point in time.
Per Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic, Joe Haggerty of the Boston Sports Journal and Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald, they all appeared on the "Pucks with Haggs" podcast where the states they are not confident a deal will get done before the season starts.
Bruins fans greatest fears are coming to the surface now and with Swayman holding firm on what he thinks he deserve's, the Bruins may run into a classic sitting-out situation.
