Sidney Crosby has consistently been a top performer in the National Hockey League throughout his career, displaying sometimes almost magical skills both with and without the puck. Yet, this exceptional talent seems to grant him a certain leniency from officials, who often overlook his more questionable actions on the ice. This pattern of behavior has been evident throughout his career and shows no signs of changing.

In last night's game, where the Pittsburgh Penguins faced off against the Wild in Minnesota, Crosby was not only seen holding Wild defender Brock Faber but also pushing his head directly into the glass; it's definitely worth watching.

First and foremost, it's clear that the incident warranted a penalty, especially due to the blatant hold, not to mention Crosby's action of forcefully pushing Faber into the glass, which crosses the line into unsportsmanlike territory.

While Crosby is undoubtedly set to be remembered as one of the NHL's greatest, his conduct on the ice is a significant concern. His tendency towards aggressive plays and the officials' apparent reluctance to penalize him due to his status is problematic.

This pattern has persisted throughout his career, raising the question: when will the league address this behavior? Crosby's actions should be scrutinized more closely. Time and again, we see the same narrative where his aggressive gameplay goes unchecked, posing a risk of injury to others.
