A ton of information has been making rounds online regarding the death of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.

Most recently, the driver, Sean Higgins, has his original statement revealed in which he had told the police officer at the scene of the crash that he had drank 5-6 beers before getting in his car then continued to drink as he drove.

The officer who arrived at the scene detected 'a strong odor of alcohol' on his breath, according to the criminal complaint obtained by the Post.

Higgins reportedly told the officer that he had consumed 'five to six beers' before the fatal accident. He also admitted that he thought the SUV was trying to block his way, and his alcohol consumption exacerbated his impatience and reckless driving.

Higgins failed a sobriety test at the scene, police said.
