The Vegas Golden Knights have achieved a remarkable feat, making it to their second Stanley Cup Finals in just six seasons as an expansion team. However, even coaches can sometimes make regrettable mistakes by criticizing their own team and mocking others.

Bruce Cassidy, unfortunately, is not exempt from such behavior. During his commentary on Game 5 between the Golden Knights and the Dallas Stars, Cassidy compared the Arizona Coyotes unfavorably, suggesting they were an inferior team incapable of winning due to their 24 giveaways.

Cassidy expressed regret and issued an apology after receiving backlash for his comments. He admitted that his remark was disrespectful and inappropriate for involving another team in the conversation.

It is worth noting that despite Cassidy's comments, the Golden Knights did suffer a 4-1 loss to the Coyotes at Mullett Arena this year, but with only two giveaways.
