Today, Team Canada was eliminated from the World Junior Championship by Czechia in the quarter-finals, leaving without any trophies. The match remained competitive throughout the entire 60 minutes, yet Czechia steadily gained momentum and never trailed at any moment during the game.

Czechia started strong in the initial period, securing the first two goals and placing Canada in an early defensive position.
After overcoming a two-goal disadvantage in the initial period, the reigning double champions of the World Juniors suffered a devastating setback in the quarter-final clash against the Czech Republic, conceding a 3-2 defeat with only 11 seconds left. This loss resulted in an early departure from the tournament in Sweden, marking Canada's elimination in the quarter-finals.
The Bruins' forward Jakub Lauko did not waste any time.
After the Czech victory, Boston Bruins forward Jakub Lauko, who hails from Czechia, took to social media and fired shots at the entire Canadian roster, including Fraser Minten.
Throughout this season, Lauko has remained in the NHL but has yet to score a goal. He has contributed three assists across 26 games. He aims to establish himself as a valuable player in the NHL for the foreseeable future and is recognized for his engaging presence on social media.
